Komodo 2016 from 12 to 16 April 2016 at the Padang and the Mentawai Islands. This activity consists of the International Fleet Review (IFR), 2016 15 th Western Pacific Naval Symposium (WPNS) and the 2nd Multilateral Naval Exercise or exercise Komodo dragons Multilateral Naval Exercise, 2016.
Followed naval activities from 35 countries. In this exercise navies of different countries historically, will be working together to implement activities in the scenario exercise humanitarian mission like the Medical Civic Action Project (Medcap) and the Engineering Civic Action Project (encap), as well as training in the Maritime Peace Keeping Operation (MPKO) ,
In MNEK 2016, there will be a variety of activities, among others, the signing of a monument for peace by President Jokowi, ship tour with the theme 'Come to the Sea', Selaju boat (rowing) between countries, beach soccer, a culinary festival Marandang in Turkish Cimpago, and city carnival the mascot of each country, followed by delegation funbike WPNS, dance and band per Formance, the promotion of cultural and culinary Indonesia.
