Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif held talks with the visiting British aide and the members of his delegation on a wide range of subjects to improve bilateral relations and security in the region.
During the meeting, the crown prince and Fallon discussed ways in which Saudi Arabia and Britain could enhance ties between the two countries, including the fight against terrorism both in word and deed. The meeting also dealt with a number of developments witnessed by the region.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Interior Abdul Rahman bin Ali Al-Ribaian, Director General of General Investigations Gen. Abdul Aziz bin Mohammed Al-Huwaireeni and Chief of General Intelligence Khaled bin Ali Al-Humaidan.
Fallon also met Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at Al-Yamamah Palace here on Monday for detailed talks on defense matters.
During the meeting, they discussed areas of cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of defense, in addition to reviewing the latest developments of regional and international situations and efforts exerted toward them, including the fight against terrorism and extremism.
During his one-day visit to Riyadh, the British official found time to tour the ancient capital of Dirriyah which is a town located on the northwest outskirts of the Saudi capital. [arabnews.com]
